Short-Term (Year 1):

  • Shift culture to proactive sales approach.
  • Implement route-based sales strategy with proactive outreach.
  • Provide hands-on leadership for sales team accountability.
  • Develop scalable growth strategy.

 

Medium-Term (Years 2-4):

  • Expand sales territory into new geographies.
  • Drive growth via new sales channels.
  • Establish excellence in sales processes.
  • Utilize CRM for account management and efficiency.

 

Long-Term (Exit Goals by 2029):

  • Build positive relationships with PE firm, Board, and employees.
  • Strategically plan for IPO or sale exit.
  • Achieve organic growth and acquisitions.
  • Exit metrics: Revenue $300M, EBITDA $35M, 7.5x exit multiple, 35% IRR, MOIC 4.0

KEY CHALLENGES FOR THE ROLE

·        Transitioning the sales approach to a proactive from reactionary

·        Driving cultural change from a previously family-owned company to a private equity-backed one.

·        Improving the utilization of CRM tools for effective lead generation and sales management.

·        Balancing rapid growth with the establishment of structured corporate systems.

·        Implementing sales processes and systems to create the gold standard

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

The successful individual will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

·        Experience in business-to-business sales within related industries such as fixtures, furniture, or exterior living products.

·        Success in scaling revenue within companies ranging from $30M+ to $500M.

·        Expertise in strategy creation and hands-on implementation for sales and marketing initiatives.

·        Proficiency in using CRM tools to optimize sales and lead generation processes.

·        A track record of working in or an aspiration to work in private equity-backed environments.

LOCATION

Will be remote working.

North East or Midwest, USA – aligned with primary sales territories.

 

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Basic Salary: $200,000 - $225,000

Bonus Package: 100% to 200% of base salary

Equity: Available (value to be confirmed)
