The portfolio company is a high-volume manufacturer with $50M in revenue and 20% EBITDA, producing a million units annually. Recently acquired by a private equity firm, the business is focused on scaling operations, with a new facility under development to increase capacity. Despite rapid growth, the company is facing operational challenges, particularly around production quality.


THE PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM

This private equity firm focuses on investing in lower-middle-market companies across North America. With over $1.5 billion invested, they specialize in primary funds, co-investments, and direct investments. Their portfolio targets businesses with EBITDA between $5M and $20M, emphasizing operational expertise to drive growth. The firm’s strategy revolves around value-based investing, helping companies grow sustainably through a combination of financial and operational improvements.

·        Fixing the production issue


THE ROLE

The day-to-day role for this position will include the following tasks:

·        Oversee operations at NC and AL sites.

·        Address production issues causing door failures.

·        Implement SOPs to resolve operational inefficiencies.

·        Manage team, especially production at the NC site, and support AL production.

·        Lead the company's growth alongside private equity sponsors.

YOUR BACKGROUND

The successful individual will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

·        Extensive experience in door manufacturing, especially interior doors.

·        Management experience at GM, Operations, or COO level.

·        Experience in implementing SOPs and managing multisite operations.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000

Bonus: 20-30%
