Recently acquired by a private equity firm, the business is focused on scaling operations, with a new facility under development to increase capacity. Despite rapid growth, the company is facing operational challenges, particularly around production quality.

This private equity firm focuses on investing in lower-middle-market companies across North America. With over $1.5 billion invested, they specialize in primary funds, co-investments, and direct investments. Their portfolio targets businesses with EBITDA between $5M and $20M, emphasizing operational expertise to drive growth. The firm’s strategy revolves around value-based investing, helping companies grow sustainably through a combination of financial and operational improvements.

THE ROLE
The day-to-day role for this position will include the following tasks:
· Oversee operations at NC and AL sites.
· Address production issues causing door failures.
· Implement SOPs to resolve operational inefficiencies.
· Manage team, especially production at the NC site, and support AL production.
· Lead the company's growth alongside private equity sponsors.

YOUR BACKGROUND
The successful individual will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:
· Extensive experience in door manufacturing, especially interior doors.
· Management experience at GM, Operations, or COO level.
· Experience in implementing SOPs and managing multisite operations.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
