Archimed was established in 2014 by the global leaders of the 3i Corporation Healthcare team. They focus on investing in healthcare globally across a variety of industries, including Biopharma, MedTech, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Life Sciences, Healthcare IT, and Consumer Health. Archimed works closely with its portfolio companies to drive business growth through international expansion, additional products, acquisitions, and organic growth. They invest in both small and mid-cap companies.

THE PROCESS

Raw Selection commences every search by discussing and understanding the full search requirements and brief. Raw Selection’s Managing Partner, Alex Rawlings, led the search in cooperation with Andre-Michel Ballester, the hiring manager at Archimed, to build a full picture of the company, its employees, its culture, and the exact profile needed to succeed in this role.

Following their extensive 15-step search process, Raw Selection reached out to a longlist of 527 potential candidates. This list was evaluated and narrowed down to a shortlist of 3, each of whom was fully interviewed and assessed for cultural fit. Ultimately, Raw Selection identified an exceptional individual, Alice Morillion, who was hired for the role.

Since this search, Raw Selection has been able to assist Archimed in multiple additional searches for their team in both New York and Lyon.

THOUGHTS ON THE SEARCH

The search was very successful, as Raw Selection found a great Impact Director with ESG experience to drive ESG and Impact work within the firm, as well as to collaborate with the Eureka Foundation.
