ArchiMed are growing their New York office and team due to their recent deal activity and the raise of a new fund.
THE PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM
ArchiMed was established in 2014 by the global leaders of 3i Corporation Healthcare team. They focus on investing in healthcare globally in a variety of industries including Biopharma, MedTech, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Life Sciences, Healthcare IT, and Consumer Health. They work closely with their portfolio companies to drive business growth through international expansion, additional products, acquisitions, and organic growth. They invest in both small and mid-cap companies.
THE SEARCH REQUIREMENTS
– 3 years of Investment Banking experience
– 1-2 years of PE experience
– Healthcare experience

THE PROCESS
Raw Selection commences every search by discussing and understanding the full search requirement and brief. Raw Selection’s Vice President, Haleema Hussain, led the search and sourced and selected the top candidates who matched the search requirements and were a great culture fit.
With the cooperation of Andre-Michel Ballester, hiring manager at ArchiMed, Haleema and Oliver built out a full picture of the company, the employees, the culture, and exactly the type of profile that was needed to succeed in this position.
Raw Selection followed our extensive 15-step search process, identifying 75 potential profiles which were fully evaluated and then cut down to a shortlist of 6, all of whom had been fully interviewed and measured for culture fit.
Raw Selection identified an exceptional individual, Roy Cheng, who was subsequently hired for the role.
Since this search, we have been able to assist Archimed in multiple searches for their team in New York and Lyon.

Although there was a big talent pool, it was difficult to find someone who had LBO modelling skills and the competency to complete a business presentation to a high standard.
