ArchiMed is a Private Equity firm that was founded in 2014 and focuses on healthcare investing globally.

REASON FOR THE SEARCH

After raising a new fund of €600M small-cap fund, they were looking to grow the team with an international profile.

THE PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM 

ArchiMed serves as a strategic and financial partner to European and North American small and middle-market businesses in targeted segments of Healthcare, including Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices & Technology, and Healthcare IT.

THE SEARCH REQUIREMENTS 

ArchiMed required a profile with 2 to 5 years of consulting/transaction services or investment banking. The successful candidate must have worked in the M&A side of their respective business.

The firm continues its push for international languages and our search continues across Europe.
Any international (outside of France) search comes with the challenges of relocating candidates to Lyon, which is not a major European city in terms of Private Equity.

THE PROCESS 

Upon starting this search, Alex Raw Selection’s Managing Partner briefed our research team to undergo a project to map out potential talent, starting with Europe's major Private Equity cities that have a Healthcare/Life Sciences/MedTech industry exposure.

London is always a great target for its diversity of nationalities attracting professionals from all over the world, and this is where we found the candidate who secured the position.

A Danish native, with 3 years post-graduate experience who was working at a big 4 firm in the management consulting division and specializing across the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.

Not only bringing additional language skills to ArchiMed but a real passion across the Healthcare industry and a network of potential acquisitions, to which he has already introduced one that is undergoing due diligence by ArchiMed.
